ABOUT US

We are Healthsciences4action, or in short HS4A. We are a group of students that realized that we had voices and that we can try use them to help make a difference. We could not sit complacently while witnessing the injustices and struggles faced by our peers and so we decided to step up. 
We have made great strides as the healthsciences4action group, we’ve worked together to plaster conversation-starting posters on walls  to get the crucial conversations about financial exclusion started. We then went on to host a very successful sit in to show our solidarity! 
Currently we are working on helping those who cannot access devices and those who do not have the funds to pay for their university fees.
Our first fundraising initiative, was a bake sale where we managed to raise over R5000. We will consistently continue to try and raise money as our peers need millions and we cannot get that kind of money alone. Please may you help us, help others.
