TO HELP STUDENTS UNABLE TO PAY FOR THEIR 2021 TUITION
The Covid-19 pandemic worsened so many problems that we were already dealing with before the pandemic entered our country. Social & economic inequality still presents itself as perhaps the most important of these long-standing problems. The immense social inequality and injustice that we see in this country, as a result of an oppressive past, is deeply rooted in our institutions of higher learning and financial exclusion is evidence of this. We need your assistance to to help deserving students to be able to pay for their 2021 fees. Health science students started in January and so we urgently need to get these students the money they need to be able to apply so please donate anything you can!

TO HELP STUDENTS THAT DO NOT HAVE DEVICES
In 2020, we saw learning move to the online space. This posed problems to those that did not have, and could not afford, learning devices. Currently, Wits University does offer devices (laptops) on loan to students. However, many who urgently require laptops have been excluded by criteria that we deem unfair. Regardless of whether students are qualifying or not, the faculty does not have enough devices to give everyone who needs them as there is only a limited amount of laptops to distribute. If you know someone who would be able to donate devices or if you would like to donate money to purchase devices for these students, please donate!
